I am tired of prescription drugs. The costs, the lawsuits, the side effects, the government regulation.
I really could care less about celebrities since many of our families are walking around hooked on painkillers.

Did anyone catch that show on obese pets in Britain? (was on Animal Planet) There were four pets featured 3 dogs and 1 cat. 2 of those dogs were rottweiler, one was Max who was 150 lbs. but they got help for him and put him on a strict diet and exercise plan and he’s getting better.
The other however was a female name Beau, and if Max was 150 this girl HAD to be more than 200 lbs. What was upsetting is not only did the woman ‘accept’ her dog being fat, but has no plans to change the poor dog’s diet. “what Beau wants Beau gets”
I wish I could find pictures or something or remember the name of the show but it was heartbreaking. This poor dog couldn;t have been healthy, when they took the dog to a grooming station the woman railed on the female owner but the owner of Beau threatened to leave and told the woman “you’re here to provide a service not insult my dog” and that the groomer washing the dog as “ignorant” and that “she’s been to the vet’s and she perfectly healthy”
There was also a 40lbs Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, whose owner blamed his obesity on the fact that she was depressed, and feeding him what he wanted made her feel better.
I felt so sorry for these dogs! Why would someone purposely do that to their pets?

BOSTON – Dunkin’ Donuts has pulled an online advertisement featuring Rachael Ray after complaints that a fringed black-and-white scarf that the celebrity chef wore in the ad offers symbolic support for Muslim extremism and terrorism.
The kaffiyeh, Malkin wrote in a column posted online last Friday, “has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad. Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant (and not-so-ignorant) fashion designers, celebrities, and left-wing icons.”
